Cacao
Ceremonial cacao is a powerful tool. It creates a warm sensation in your heart. You feel softer, more present and loving. As you may be aware, every plant has its spirit. What I love about the cacao plant and its spirit is that it doesn’t override your own therefore there is not interferences from other realms.

Preparing your Cacao on the day of the ceremony
Make sure your mind and body is clear. Allow time in silence to connect with your intention for the ceremony. What would you like to shift, let go, allow more in your life?
It is powerful to set an intention for yourself beforehand and endorse it during the ceremony. Come back into your power during this ceremony, let your creativity flow and experience this healing with all your senses.
Basic recipe
- Raw Ceremonial Cacao portion 50g for ceremony or 25g for light meditation
- 1 cup of water
- A pinch of Himalayan salt
- Spices of your choice Some of my suggestions are cinnamon, cardamom, gingers powder, cloves, all spices etc.
Just make sure just to add a little pinch and try it as you go along.
Optional:
- 1 teaspoon agave or coconut sugar
Warm-up a glass of water in the pan. Don’t boil it as the cacao will evaporate. First, add the spices, pinch of salt and the sugar/ agave. As you are adding each ingredient, bring your focus and loving presence into the moment, connecting with your heart and letting yourself surrender to this sacred space.
Finally, add the cacao and let it melt until you have a velvety cup of raw cacao.
Serve it in a mug and let it cool down a bit ready to join the online ceremony.

Preparing the space for cacao Ceremony
On the day, please make sure to allow yourself enough time to prepare ceremony. An important part of this is to create a sacred and quiet space for yourself so that you can go deep in the journey.
So, you can make yourself comfortable with cushions, a blanket, a book to write in, candles and smudge your space with palo santo wood or sage.
